Walker-Miller Energy Services [Detroit, MI] announced Avec O’Brien as their new Chief Financial Officer. O’Brien was the US & Mexico Controller for Mastronardi Produce, CFO of the Detroit Science Center, audit manager at Deloitte & Touché, LLP., office manager at Heidrick & Struggles, and senior accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

iSpecimen [LEXINGTON, MA] named Tracy Wilson Curley as its Chief Financial Officer. Curley started her career in 1989 as a staff accountant for a West Coast accounting firm and progressed through increasingly senior roles at KPMG, PwC, Cabot Corporation and Houghton Mifflin, among others.

WireCo WorldGroup [PRAIRIE VILLAGE, KS] announced that Daniel Vinton has been appointed Chief Financial Officer effective October 19, 2020. Vinton joins WireCo from PerkinElmer, where he is Vice President and CFO of its Discovery & Analytical Solutions segment. Prior to joining PerkinElmer in 2017, Vinton spent 18 years at General Electric in multiple locations in North America and Europe, most recently holding various CFO roles within GE Current. Prior to GE Current, Vinton held several management positions at GE Aviation. He began his career with GE as part of its Financial Management Program (FMP) and worked for GE’s Corporate Audit Staff (CAS). Vinton will succeed Keith Hyder, WireCo’s current CFO, who will be leaving to pursue other opportunities.

Chandra McCormack

Acosta [JACKSONVILLE, FL] announced the appointment of Chandra McCormack as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Most recently, McCormack served as CFO for Greyhound Lines, Inc. Before Greyhound, she served in CFO roles at several retail, restaurant and CPG companies, including 13 years with Dean Foods Company in various financial leadership roles.

Healthmap Solutions [TAMPA, FL] announced that Joe Vattamattam, a Co-founder of Healthmap, will become President & Chief Financial Officer.

EagleView [BELLEVUE, WA] announced the appointment of Ryan Courson as Chief Financial Officer. Courson joins EagleView from Atlas Corp., where he was also the CFO. Prior to joining Atlas, he worked in a variety of investing roles including public and private equity.

Chiasma, Inc. [NEEDHAM, MA] (NASDAQ: CHMA) announced that Mark Fitzpatrick intends to step down as President and Principal Financial Officer. Fitzpatrick has agreed to remain in his current position until June 30, 2021 or the company’s appointment of its next chief financial officer, if earlier.

Akouos, Inc. [BOSTON] (NASDAQ: AKUS) announced the appointment of Sachiyo Minegishi as chief financial officer. Most recently, Minegishi led the gene therapy program for Sickle Cell Disease at bluebird bio. Earlier, Minegishi held leadership roles at Aegerion Pharmaceuticals, Human Genome Sciences, Genzyme, and Amgen. She began her career in investment banking at Merrill Lynch, with a focus on execution of equity financing and mergers and acquisitions in the biotechnology industry.

Cara Therapeutics, Inc. [STAMFORD, CT] (NASDAQ: CARA) announced the appointment of Thomas Reilly as Chief Financial Officer. Reilly joins Cara from Allergan, now part of AbbVie, where he served as Finance Head for the U.S. General Medicine Commercial Business. Prior to Allergan, he held numerous financial management positions of increasing responsibility within Novartis, most notably Head of Finance of Global Oncology Development. Previously, he served as the Finance Manager, US Consumer Healthcare Division of Pharmacia Corporation, now Pfizer Inc.

Regional Management Corp. [GREENVILLE, SC] (NYSE: RM) announced that it has appointed Harpreet (“Harp”) Rana as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective on or before November 23, 2020. Rana replaces Mike Dymski who was acting as interim CFO. Dymski will continue his ongoing role as Chief Accounting Officer. Rana was most recently Managing Director, North America Retail Bank at Citigroup. She also held various additional lead positions in both business and finance roles at Citigroup, including Head of US Retail Deposit & Lending Products.

VSE Corporation [ALEXANDRIA, VA] (NASDAQ: VSEC) announced that Thomas R. Loftus, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer plans to retire after a distinguished career with the Company.

Tom Cestare

Title Alliance, Ltd. [MEDIA, PA] named Tom Cestare as their Chief Financial Officer. Before joining Title Alliance, Cestare was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Beneficial Bancorp.

Creative Learning Corporation [BOISE, ID] announced the appointment of Mike Elkin as Chief Financial Officer. Elkin joins Creative Learning Corporation from a large REIT company where he served as Controller.

Basic Energy Services, Inc. [FORT WORTH, TX] (OTCQX: BASX) announced the decision of CFO David Schorlemer to resign in order to pursue other interests. The Company appointed Adam Hurley to serve as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary of the Company. Previously, Hurley was Executive Vice President, Operations.

BRC Imagination Arts [BURBANK, CA] hired Tom Seib as its new chief financial officer. Seib joined BRC from One Good Man Productions, where he was CFO. Previously, he spent more than 10 years in Head of Finance roles in the theatrical marketing, distribution/television marketing and consumer products divisions of DreamWorks Animation.

Brad Kotansky

Copperstate Farms Management, LLC [PHOENIX] announced the appointment of Brad Kotansky as Chief Financial Officer. He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer at 4Front Ventures. Prior to his transition into the cannabis space, Kotansky co-founded a leading software company and also had his own real estate development firm. He also brings over fifteen years of executive level experience on Wall Street having worked as a hedge fund portfolio manager and investment banker.

Immatics N.V. [Tuebingen, Germany and Houston] (NASDAQ: IMTX) announced that Arnd Christ joined its leadership team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Immatics’ current CFO, Thomas Ulmer, is stepping down to pursue new opportunities. Before joining InflaRx, Christ was CFO of several companies including Medigene AG, Novimmune SA and Probiodrug AG. Prior to serving as a CFO, he held the position of Financial Director in various corporations related to the former Hoechst Group in Germany and the UK.

Aziyo Biologics, Inc. [SILVER SPRING, MD] announced that Matthew Ferguson has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Most recently, Ferguson served as Chief Financial Officer of Bossa Nova Robotics. Previously, he held a range of executive positions that included Chief Financial Officer, Chief Business Officer and Co-President, at Avinger. Prior to Avinger, he served as the Chief Financial Officer for Tethys Bioscience, Proteolix and FoxHollow Technologies.

Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. [ESTERO, FL] (NYSE: HTZ) announced that Kenny K. Cheung, recently promoted to Executive Vice President of Finance, Chief Operational Finance and Restructuring Officer, assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer. He succeeds R. Eric Esper, who has resigned to pursue a new opportunity and will remain with Hertz as Chief Accounting Officer until November 1, 2020. Previously, Cheung served as Senior Vice President of Global Financial Planning & Analysis and Chief Financial Officer of North America at Hertz. He joined the Company in December 2018. Prior to that, he held financial leadership roles with Nielsen Holdings, PLC, most recently as Global Chief Audit Executive, and prior to that as a regional Chief Operating Officer after serving as regional Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Nielsen, Mr. Cheung worked for General Electric in various roles across Supply Chain, Operations, and Financial Planning & Analysis.

Jeffrey Fasy

Discovery Health Partners [ITASCA, IL] tapped Jeffrey Fasy as its new Chief Financial Officer. Fasy most recently served as SVP, Financial Planning and Analysis, for nThrive, and as Vice President of Revenue Assurance and Global Financial Planning and Analysis for Cotiviti. Prior to those, Fasy held a variety of financial leadership roles at companies such as Equifax, SNF Holding Company, Kemira Chemicals, UCB, Inc., and Procter & Gamble.

Momentus Inc. [SANTA CLARA, CA] announced the appointment of Jikun Kim as Chief Financial Officer. Kim most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of Formlabs. Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer of EMCORE Corporation. Kim has held senior leadership roles at a variety of aerospace and defense companies, including as Chief Financial Officer of Merex Group, AeroVironment, and Raytheon Vision Systems.

ActiGraph [PENSACOLA, FL] announced the hiring of Lynda Barr as Chief Financial Officer. Barr has spent the last 20 years of her career working in private equity owned companies, including Chief Financial Officer in manufacturing, retail, and service sectors and serving as Financial Director at Riverside Company. Most recently, Barr was Chief Financial Officer for Standard Furniture.

MSCI Inc. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: MSCI) announced the appointment of Andrew C. Wiechmann as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Linda S. Huber is stepping down from her role as CFO. Wiechmann joined MSCI in July 2012 and has served as MSCI’s Chief Strategy Officer since May 2019. He was the Company’s Interim Chief Financial Officer from March to May 2019. Immediately prior to that, he served as Head of Strategy and Corporate Development since July 2012 and Head of Investor Relations since December 2017, and Head of Financial Planning and Analysis from July 2015 to December 2017. Prior to joining MSCI, Wiechmann was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley.

Rimini Street, Inc. [LAS VEGAS] (NASDAQ: RMNI) announced the appointment of Michael L. Perica as executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO). Most recently, Perica served as vice president of finance and CFO of the Energy Systems Global business unit at Enersys . Perica joined Enersys as the result of the acquisition of Alpha Technologies, where he was CFO. Prior to his tenure at Alpha Technologies, Perica served as CFO of Channell Commercial Corporation. Earlier, Perica spent 12 years at various Wall Street investment banks and concluded his capital markets career as senior vice president and head of research at Brean Capital (formerly Brean Murray, Carret & Co.).

Cemtrex Inc. [BROOKLYN, NY] (NASDAQ: CETX) announced that Priscilla Popov has been appointed to serve as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. Popov will succeed Aron Govil, who will remain as a consultant to the company until fiscal year-end 2021. Popov joined the Company in 2020 and prior to joining Cemtrex, she held senior accounting positions at Videri, Bulgari, and Sotheby’s.

BrandSafway [KENNESAW, GA] announced that Christian Garcia will be the new executive vice president (EVP) and chief financial officer (CFO). Garcia is a three-time public company CFO. He most recently served as Weatherford’s CFO. Prior to Weatherford, Garcia served as Visteon’s CFO and as Halliburton’s acting CFO.

First Merchants Corporation [MUNCIE, IN] (NASDAQ – FRME) announced that Mark Hardwick, current COO and CFO, will become CEO. Michele Kawiecki, current Senior Vice President of Finance, will become CFO. All leadership changes will be effective January 1, 2021. Kawiecki joined First Merchants in 2015 having previously served as Senior Vice President of Capital Management and Assistant Treasurer at UMB Financial Corporation.

Michelle Stewart

Guess & Co. Corporation [MIAMI] announced Michelle Stewart has been appointed president, chief operating officer and chief financial officer of the company. Stewart will continue to serve as deputy chairman of the Board of Directors. Prior to joining Guess & Co. Corporation, Stewart was a partner in a commercial financing business. She began her business career as a real estate investor. In addition to Guess & Co. Corporation, Ms. Stewart is president and chairman of her own venture holding company, Stewart Intercontinental Capital. She joined Guess & Co. Corporation initially as executive vice-president and managing director.

Central Logic [SANDY, UT AND MINNEAPOLIS] announced the appointments of Samantha Endres as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, she was Chief Financial Officer of West Academic Publishing. Other previous positions include Senior Director, Finance, at Thomson Reuters.

On Target Laboratories, Inc. [WEST LAFAYETTE, IN] announced that Patrick Spangler has joined the Company as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Spangler served as Chief Financial Officer for MHC Software. Spangler previously served as CFO for VigiLanz Corporation, Healthland, Inc., Epocrates (EPOC) and ev3 (EVVV), and held various senior finance leadership roles at Medtronic (MDT). He also currently serves on the Board of Directors for Lifespace Communities and OptimizeRX.

Serco Inc. [Herndon, VA], a subsidiary of Serco Group plc, announced that Gordon Foster will be joining Serco Inc. as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer on October 26, 2020. Foster will succeed Gary Shankman who announced this past month his plans to retire by the end of 2020. For the past two years, Foster was the CFO for Constellis. Prior to that, Foster was the EVP & CFO at ASRC Federal. Foster began his government contracting career with Northrop Grumman (formerly Litton PRC) where he ultimately served as the CFO of the Civil Systems Division, Cyber Solutions Division, and Intelligence Systems Division.  He also held various other leadership positions across Health IT, DoD, Commercial, State and Local portfolios.

Theralink Technologies [DENVER] (OTC: OBMP) announced the appointment of Thomas E. Chilcott, III as Chief Financial Officer. From 2017 to 2019, Chilcott was the Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer of Ampio Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Additionally, Chilcott was the President of Chilcott Consulting Group.

Rubius Therapeutics, Inc. [CAMBRIDGE, MA] (NASDAQ: RUBY) announced the appointment of Jose “Pepe” Carmona as chief financial officer. Carmona most recently served as chief financial officer at Radius Health. Prior to joining Radius, Carmona was chief financial officer of Innocoll Holdings PLC, acquired by Gurnet Point L.P. During his career at Novartis, Mr. Carmona held numerous financial management positions with increasing responsibilities in various divisions as chief financial officer in Europe, North America, Latin America and held other senior global financial roles.

Global Healthcare REIT, Inc. [Niwot, CO] announced that Zvi Rhine tendered his resignation from all positions with Global Healthcare REIT, Inc. (the “Company”), including his positions as Director, President and Chief Financial Officer. Lance Baller, the Company’s CEO, has been appointed interim Chief Financial Officer.

Cyanotech Corporation [Kailua Kona, HI] named Felicia Ladin as its Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”), Vice President (“VP”) of Finance and Administration, and Treasurer, replacing Brian Orlopp. From February 2015 to January 2018, Ladin served as Senior Vice President, CFO and Treasurer for Albany Molecular Research, Inc. From 2002 to 2015, Ladin worked at Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc. Her last position with Teva was Senior Vice President, CFO, Global Specialty Medicines. Prior to that role, she had positions of increasing responsibility directing Teva’s financial planning and analysis operations and was tax director.

Sharing Services Global Corporation [Plano, TX] announced that Frank A. Walters, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, has informed the Company of his imminent retirement.

DPW Holdings, Inc. [Newport Beach, CA] (NYSE American: DPW) announced that William B. Horne, who served as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed as President and that Kenneth S. Cragun, who served as Company’s Chief Accounting Officer, has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer. Cragun joined the Company as Chief Accounting Officer in October 2018. Cragun is the Chief Financial Officer for Alzamend Neuro, Inc., a biotech company, on a part-time basis. He served as a CFO Partner at Hardesty, LLC, since October 2016. His assignments at Hardesty included serving as CFO of CorVel Corporation, and of RISA Tech, Inc. Cragun was also CFO of two NASDAQ-listed companies, Local Corporation, from April 2009 to September 2016, and Modtech Holdings, Inc., from June 2006 to March 2009. Prior thereto, he had financial leadership roles with increasing responsibilities at MIVA, Inc., ImproveNet, Inc., NetCharge Inc., C-Cube Microsystems, Inc, and 3-Com Corporation. Cragun serves on the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Verb Technology Company, Inc. Cragun began his professional career at Deloitte.

ShotSpotter, Inc. [Newark, CA] announced that Alan R. Stewart, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, would be taking a temporary medical leave of absence. The Company appointed Ralph Clark, the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, as Interim Chief Financial Officer.

Ennis, Inc. [Midlothian, TX] announed that Richard L. Travis, Jr. retired from his positions as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. The Company appointed Vera Burnett, the Company’s current accounting manager, to assume Travis’s responsibilities as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer on an interim basis. Burnett joined the Company in February 1997.

Emerald Bioscience, Inc. [San Diego] announced that Elena Traistaru has stepped down from her position as the interim Principal Financial Officer. The Company appointed Richard Janney as the Company’s interim Principal Accounting Officer. Richard Janney currently is an independent contractor at RoseRyan, Inc. In addition to his position with RoseRyan, Janney currently serves as the acting Chief Financial Officer of Pinnacle Engines and Tempathic, Inc. on a part-time basis. Prior to Tempathic, Inc., Janney served as the Chief Financial Officer of Thinc, Inc. from September 2018 to August 2019, and as the Chief Executive Officer of AFFARI, LLC from 2011 to 2019. Janney also served as the principal accounting officer of several public and private companies, including Trident Microsystems, Inc., and Asyst Technologies, Inc.

Terra Tech Corp. [Irvine, CA] announced that Megan Jimenez has resigned as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. The Company appointed Jeff Batliner to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Batliner has served as the Company’s Director of Reporting & Analysis since December 3, 2018. Prior to that role, Batliner was the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis of Iteris, Inc., since 2015.
