Harsh Chugh

PlanSource [ORLANDO, Fla.] announced that Harsh Chugh has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Chugh was VP and Functional COO for Global Markets with IBM. Harsh joins PlanSource from IBM, where he held various leadership positions, most recently as functional Chief Operating Officer for global sales-driving sales operations and transformation. Prior to this role, Chugh operated as CFO & COO of its Digital Business Group.

Curtiss-Wright Corporation [DAVIDSON, N.C.] (NYSE: CW) announced that Glenn E. Tynan, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, plans to retire after a distinguished 20-year career with the Company, with the past 18 years as CFO. Tynan will continue to serve as a Vice President of the Company to assist the Executive Team with the transition until his retirement this fall. K. Christopher Farkas has been promoted to Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Farkas has served as the Company’s Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller since 2017. Farkas was named Vice President of Finance of Curtiss-Wright Corporation in December 2017. Previously, he held the positions of Vice President and Corporate Controller since 2014, and also served as Assistant Corporate Controller since May 2009. Prior to joining Curtiss-Wright, he spent more than 17 years in financial, technical and operational roles of increasing responsibility within Fortune 50/250 industrial companies including United Technologies Corporation and Parker Hannifin.

SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) [ALEXANDRIA, Va.] announced Keith Green as the organization’s new Chief Financial Officer. At Deutsche Bank/Bankers Trust, Keith served as chief of staff to the CEO. Before joining SHRM, Green was an independent consultant providing strategic advisory services for SHRM’s businesses. Previously, Green held executive positions in strategy, human resources, business operations, and consulting at organizations including Aurea Software, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, Freddie Mac, and McKinsey.

David Farnsworth

HawkEye 360 Inc. [HERNDON, Va.] announced that David Farnsworth has been named HawkEye 360’s Chief Financial Officer. Farnsworth started at Raytheon in 1982 and worked his way up the company to become Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Integrated Defense Systems. Previously, he was the CFO for the Intelligence, Information and Services segment of Raytheon and worked at Raytheon Corporate headquarters. In 2007, Farnsworth was appointed CFO for Raytheon Technical Services Company. Prior to that, he was vice president and deputy director of Integrated Communications Systems for Raytheon Network Centric Systems and CFO of the company’s former government and defense business.

Dicerna Pharmaceuticals, Inc. [LEXINGTON, Mass.] (NASDAQ: DRNA) announced that Douglas Pagán will become Dicerna’s chief financial officer (CFO), effective May 26, 2020. Dicerna previously announced the retirement of its current CFO, Jack Green, who will continue with the Company in a consulting capacity to ensure a successful transition. Pagán is currently completing his service as CFO and secretary of KSQ Therapeutics. Prior to KSQ, Pagán served for five years as CFO of Paratek Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Prior to Paratek, Pagán held roles of increasing responsibility at Acceleron Pharma, Inc., Biogen Idec (now Biogen), Bristol-Myers Squibb and Johnson & Johnson. He also worked in the investment banking division at J.P. Morgan Securities early in his career. Pagán serves on the Board of Directors of Ziopharm Oncology.

Oligomerix, Inc. [NEW YORK] announced that Robert Foerster has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Foerster had experience across numerous financial, therapeutic and functional areas during his 28 years with Pfizer. His roles included Senior Director Commercial Development for Emerging Markets, Senior Director Business Development – Japan. He was Director/Team Leader – Neuroscience for New Product Development, which included the development of Chantix, and Director of Financial Operations for the Africa Middle East region.

Joseph Orlando

Venbrook Group, LLC [WOODLAND HILLS, Calif.] welcomes Joseph Orlando as new Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Venbrook Group, Orlando’s 25 year career included CFO roles at Concord Blue Energy, Hyman, Inc., and Suncor Capital.

Del Real Foods [MIRA LOMA, Calif.] announced the appointment of Manuel Martinez as its new Chief Financial Officer. Martinez most recently served as CFO of Nellson Nutraceutical, and as EVP and CFO of Windsor Quality.

Unity Bancorp, Inc. [CLINTON, N.J.] (NASDAQ: UNTY), parent company of Unity Bank, announced that Anthony L. Cossetti will be joining the Company as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective June 8, 2020.  Cossetti has over 25 years of finance and accounting experience, most recently at Beneficial Bancorp, Philadelphia, PA, as Senior Vice President and Corporate Treasurer.  Cossetti currently serves as a Finance Committee Member for the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, where he was previously an Audit Committee member.  He also served as an Advisory Board Member to the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh.

Joseph P. Kelley

Nordson Corporation [WESTLAKE, Ohio] (NASDAQ: NDSN) announced that Joseph P. Kelley has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective July 6, 2020. Kelley succeeds Gregory A. Thaxton, who previously announced his plans to retire. Upon Kelley’s start date, Thaxton will become Executive Vice President to the Company until he retires on August 28, 2020. Since 2015, Kelley has served as chief financial officer of Materion. Previously, he had a career with roles of increasing responsibility at Materion, PolyOne and Lincoln Electric.

R1 RCM Inc. [CHICAGO] (NASDAQ: RCM) announced the appointment of Rachel Wilson as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer effective June 1, 2020. Most recently, she was the Chief Financial Officer for Iron Mountain Data Centers. Before joining Iron Mountain, she served as Vice President, Financial and Investor Relations, and Vice President of Corporate Development and Financial Relations for the Jarden Corporation.

Northpointe Bank [GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.] announced that Brian Kuelbs will join the company as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Investment Officer. Prior to Northpointe Bank, Kuelbs’ served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Investment Officer for public and privately held depository institutions, private-equity-backed ventures and specialty real estate finance companies.  His most recent position was with Impac Mortgage Holdings, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer, and prior to that, he held senior positions with The Banc of California, Home Point Financial Corporation, Aurora Bank FSB, Countrywide Financial Corporation and GMAC Financial Services.

Matt Johnson

West Cancer Center & Research Institute [GERMANTOWN, TENN.] announced that Matt Johnson joined the leading regional cancer center as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Johnson joins West from Medical Anesthesia Group, where he served as the Practice Administrator and Chief Operating Officer. Matt comes to West with over 12 years experience in finance; holding previous positions with Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, iBank and HealthChoice, a joint venture between Methodist Healthcare and MetroCare Physicians.

Lodo Therapeutics Corp. [NEW YORK] announced that Donald R. Marvin has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Marvin recently became Chairman of Concentric, after five years as President and CEO. Previously, he was President and CEO of IdentiGEN. Marvin was a co-founder of Orchid BioSciences, where he served as Chief Operating Officer, CFO and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. Earlier, Marvin was President and CEO of Diatron Corporation.

Anchiano Therapeutics Ltd. [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] (NASDAQ: ANCN) announced it has appointed Steve DiPalma as its Chief Financial Officer. DiPalma has served as a Senior Financial Advisor to Anchiano by agreement with Danforth Advisors since 2018; he will succeed Jonathan Burgin, who is leaving the Company as part of the planned closure of the Company’s Israel offices and facilities. DiPalma brings more than 30 years of experience in life sciences and healthcare and has served as a Senior Financial Advisor to Anchiano by agreement with Danforth since 2018. DiPalma has served as the Chief Financial Officer and finance lead for eight public companies prior to and since joining Danforth, and has served as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Executive Officer or Director of eight privately-held companies.

Adam Townsend

VIZIO, Inc. [IRVINE, Calif.] announced that Adam Townsend has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Before joining VIZIO, Townsend most recently served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Showtime Networks Inc. Previously, Adam held multiple roles at CBS Corporation, including Executive Vice President, Corporate Finance and Investor Relations.

NovaBay® Pharmaceuticals, Inc. [EMERYVILLE, Calif.] (NYSE American: NBY) announced the appointment of Andrew D. Jones as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Jones replaces Lynn Christopher, who assumed these positions on an interim basis in April 2020 and will continue to work with NovaBay to support a smooth transition. Jones most recently served as an independent consultant. He previously served as Vice President, Finance of MyoScience, Inc. Prior to MyoScience, Jones was Senior Director of Finance at Armetheon, Inc., and Corporate Controller of Asante Solutions, Inc. and Genelabs Technologies, Inc.

Usermind [SEATTLE] announced that Jessica Lanier has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Usermind, Lanier co-founded multiple companies including Chatter Inc. and most recently a venture-backed SaaS platform Tonic Health, where she also served as CFO.

Kelly Baker

EVERSANA™ [CHICAGO] announced the appointment of Kelly Baker to Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Most recently, she led Finance at DuPage Medical Group in Illinois.

CapStar Financial Holdings, Inc. [NASHVILLE, Tenn.] (NASDAQ: CSTR) announced the hiring of Michael J. Fowler as Chief Financial Officer. Fowler will succeed Robert B. Anderson who will remain with CapStar through June 30, 2020 to ensure a smooth transition. Fowler will join CapStar subject to the legal close of the pending First Horizon National Corp. and IBERIABANK Corporation merger where he has served as IBERIABANK’s Executive Vice President Financial Risk since 2013.

AZZ Inc. [FORT WORTH, Texas] (NYSE: AZZ) announced that Paul W. Fehlman, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will be leaving the Company on May 31, 2020 to pursue other business opportunities.  The Company has appointed Philip Schlom, the Company’s Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer, to assume the role of Interim Chief Financial Officer. Schlom served at major publicly-traded companies including Exterran Corporation, and Parker Drilling Company. Schlom has also held numerous accounting and leadership roles at Shared Technologies, Inc.; Flowserve Corporation; and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC).

Marty Moore

 

Central States Water Resources (CSWR) [ST. LOUIS]  announced the addition of Marty Moore as chief financial officer (CFO). Moore most recently led finance and corporate services as CFO of Gardner Capital. Moore’s extensive senior-level finance and operational experience includes serving as CFO of Baldwin Technology Co. Prior, Moore held senior leadership positions with Summit Marketing, Consolidated Terminals, Barnhill’s Buffet Inc., and Global Materials Services. He began his career at Arthur Andersen.

Aware, Inc. [BEDFORD, Mass.] (NASDAQ: AWRE) announced that David Barcelo has been appointed Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Barcelo served as Vice President of Strategic Marketing of IDEMIA (OT-Morpho) from November 2017 to May 2020. Barcelo previously served as Vice President of Business Operations for MorphoTrust USA LLC from 2011 to 2017 and as Corporate Director of Financial Planning and Strategic Operations of L-1 Identity Solutions from 2006 to 2011.

HF Foods Group Inc. [CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif.] (NASDAQ: HFFG) appointed Victor Lee as the company’s new chief financial officer (CFO) effective May 1, 2020. Lee is replacing Peter Zhang, who has served as the company’s CFO and co-CEO since the merger of HF Foods Group and B&R Global Holdings in November 2019. Lee joined HF Foods in December 2019 as chief corporate finance and strategy officer. Lee began his career at Citibank N.A., in 1993, handling small- and medium-sized corporate finance and progressed to a vice president position in the International Personal Banking Division. In 1999, he moved to Deutsche Bank AG as a vice president. In 2004, he was promoted to managing director and Singapore Market Head in the Private Wealth Management Division. From 2007 until 2009, he was with Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management and most recently served as executive director and head of Singapore/Malaysia markets. Since February 2012, Lee has served as president and chief executive officer of Ascent Solar Technologies, Inc. Lee is also the managing director of Tertius Financial Group Pte Ltd, which he founded in February 2009.

Freshworks Inc. [SAN MATEO, Calif.] announced the appointment of Tyler Sloat as Chief Financial Officer. Previously, Sloat served as CFO at Zuora, Inc. Prior to Zuora, Sloat held executive finance roles at a variety of companies including NetApp Inc. and Siebel Systems, Inc.

Andrew Guggenhime

SutroVax [FOSTER CITY, Calif.] announced the appointment of Andrew Guggenhime as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Business Officer. Guggenhime joins SutroVax from Dermira, Inc., where he served as Chief Financial Officer from April 2014 through the acquisition of the company by Eli Lilly and Company in February 2020. Prior to Dermira, Guggenhime served as Chief Financial Officer for CardioDx, Inc. He also served as Chief Financial Officer for Calistoga Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; and as Chief Financial Officer for Facet Biotech Corporation. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer of PDL BioPharma, Inc. until Facet Biotech was spun off from PDL BioPharma in December 2008. Prior to joining Facet Biotech, Guggenhime served as Chief Financial Officer for Neoforma, Inc. Guggenhime began his career in financial services at Merrill Lynch & Co. and Wells Fargo & Company. He currently serves on the board of directors of Metacrine, Inc.

Spruce Biosciences [SAN FRANCISCO] announced the appointments of Samir Gharib as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Prior to joining Spruce, Gharib was Chief Financial Officer of Stemedica Cell Technologies, and prior to Stemedica, held executive finance roles at Revance Therapeutics and Talon Therapeutics. Gharib began his career in the Audit and Advisory practice at KPMG LLP, and subsequently in the Corporate Finance practice at CRC LLP.

The Doe Run Company [ST. LOUIS, MO.] (Doe Run) announced the promotion of Tony Bogolin to vice president finance, CFO and treasurer. Bogolin joined Doe Run in 2019 as treasurer. Prior to joining Doe Run, he held positions with executive-level responsibilities for finance, accounting, operations and management of IT systems. Most recently, Bogolin served as the CFO at Jesse Creek Mining LLC.

FogPharma [BOSTON] announced the appointment of Tony Gibney as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Business Officer. Prior to joining FogPharma, Gibney served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer of Achillion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Before Achillion,  Gibney was a partner and co-head of Biotechnology Investment Banking at Leerink Partners LLC. Gibney also previously worked in the Healthcare Group at Merrill Lynch, Inc. Gibney began his professional career as an analyst in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at Lehman Brothers Inc.

Immunocore [OXFORD, England & CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. & ROCKVILLE, Md.] announced that Brian Di Donato has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Strategy. Most recently, Di Donato was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Achillion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He previously help positions of Managing Director and Co-Portfolio Manager at Sorin Capital Management, President and Chief Investment Officer at Capmark Investments, Executive Director in fixed-income capital markets at Morgan Stanley and Vice President at UBS Securities.

Insteel Industries, Inc. [MOUNT AIRY, N.C.] (NASDAQGS: IIIN) announced the appointment of Mark A. Carano as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer effective May 18, 2020. Carano will be succeeding Michael C. Gazmarian, who will be continuing with the Company through July 31, 2020 to assist with the leadership transition. Carano joins Insteel from Big River Steel, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Big River, he served in senior management roles with Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises, including Senior Vice President, Finance and Controller of their Industrial Segment, Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy, and Corporate Treasurer. Mr. Carano also has 14 years of investment banking experience serving as a Managing Director with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and in various roles of increasing responsibility with Deutsche Bank and First Union Securities.

Neenah, Inc. [ALPHARETTA, Ga.] (NYSE: NP) announced that Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer Bonnie Lind has communicated her plans to retire. Lind will remain with Neenah through an October 1 retirement date to ensure a smooth transition. The Company further announced today that it had appointed Paul DeSantis as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer.  DeSantis most recently served as Chief Financial Officer at OMNOVA Solutions, and was in this role from 2014 until the company was acquired earlier this year.
