Roadrunner Transportation Systems, Inc. [DOWNERS GROVE, IL] (NYSE: RRTS) announced that Terence R. Rogers, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, is resigning from the company effective at the end of August.

CSS Industries, Inc. [PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA] (NYSE: CSS) announced the resignation of Keith W. Pfeil as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, effective August 2, 2019. Mr. Pfeil is leaving the Company to become the chief financial officer for a larger, publicly traded company in the medical device industry.

InsideSales.com [SILICON SLOPES, UT] announced the appointment of John Markovich as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining InsideSales.com, Markovich was the CFO of OmniGuide Holdings, Inc. and previously held CFO positions at Veritone, Inc., NanoH2O, Inc., EMCORE Corporation, Pictos Technologies, Optical Coating Laboratories, and AutoByTel.com.

Williams Industrial Services Group Inc. [ATLANTA, GEORGIA] (OTCQX: WLMS) announced that its chief financial officer, Tim Howsman, has retired to spend more time with his family at home in Arkansas. Tracy Pagliara, President and CEO, has been appointed interim Chief Financial Officer. Pagliara began his career in public accounting. During the last 20 years, he has been an officer for multiple public companies, including his service in various executive roles with the Company since April 2010. He also currently serves as a director for the Company and Westwater Resources (NASDAQ: WWR), where he is a member of its Audit, Compensation and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees.

Chris Turner

Yum! Brands, Inc. [LOUISVILLE, KY] (NYSE: YUM)  announced that Chris Turner will join the Company as Chief Financial Officer, effective August 8, 2019. Turner joins Yum! Brands from PepsiCo, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President and General Manager leading PepsiCo’s retail and ecommerce businesses with Walmart in the U.S. and more than 25 countries and across PepsiCo’s brands in the beverage, snack and nutrition categories. Prior to leading PepsiCo’s Walmart business, Turner served as Senior Vice President of Transformation for PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay North America business. Previously, he led the long-term strategic planning processes related to growth acceleration, category expansion and M&A as Senior Vice President of Strategy for Frito-Lay. Chris previously spent more than 13 years at McKinsey & Company, where he served as a Partner in the firm’s Dallas office.

Daniel J. Busch

InvenTrust Properties Corp. [DOWNERS GROVE, IL] announced that Daniel J. Busch has been appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, effective September 3, 2019. Adam M. Jaworski, who has served as the Company’s Interim Principal Financial Officer since August 2018, will continue in his role as Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer. Busch most recently served as Managing Director, Retail at Green Street Advisors. Prior to serving as Managing Director, Mr. Busch served in increasingly senior roles at Green Street. Previously, Mr. Busch served as an equity research analyst at Telsey Advisory Group and worked in a corporate capacity at Petco Animal Supplies Inc.

HSBC North America Holdings Inc. [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Kavita Mahtani as Chief Financial Officer. The appointment is effective Oct. 1, 2019. Mahtani joins HSBC from Citigroup, where she has most recently served as Head of Asset and Liability Management for Citi Corporate Treasury. She has held a number of significant strategic roles at Citigroup, including Chief Financial Officer, Global Corporate & Investment Banking; Global Head of Financial Planning and Analysis; and Director, Investor Relations. Before joining Citigroup in 2006, she held key roles at Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley.

Marty Meyer

GAN Integrity [NEW YORK] announced Marty Meyer as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Meyer joins GAN Integrity after serving as CFO at Sailthru. Meyer additionally served as CFO at Shapeways, President at Corero Network Security, and as Vice President and COO at ExtendMedia Corporation.

Apple Hospitality REIT, Inc. [RICHMOND, VA] (NYSE: APLE) announced the appointment of Rachael Rothman to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the Company. Rothman will succeed Bryan Peery as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. As previously announced, Mr. Peery plans to retire from the Company in the first quarter of 2020. Mr. Peery will continue as Executive Vice President and, effective July 1, 2019, will become Chief Accounting Officer for the Company. Rothman most recently served as Senior Vice President, Investor Relations and Strategy for Playa Hotels & Resorts N.V. From 2010 until 2018, Ms. Rothman served as a Senior Analyst for Susquehanna International Group, LLP (“SIG”). Prior to joining SIG, she held several positions of increasing responsibility within Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. covering various public lodging, restaurant and gaming companies. Ms. Rothman’s career began in the lodging industry, where she held various roles in hotel operations, including general manager.

Merchant Investment Management [NEW YORK] announced that Amit Grover will join the private partnership as Chief Financial Officer. Grover has 20 years of experience in the financial services industry during which he has held various management positions at firms including Dynasty Financial Partners, Morgan Stanley, Smith Barney and Citibank.

CureMatch [SAN DIEGO] announced that Katie Breitenbach has joined as chief financial officer. Breitenbach has held positions as CFO, VP of finance, and director of finance.

Elios Therapeutics, LLC [AUSTIN, TX] announced the appointment of Phillip Johnson as chief financial officer. Johnson joins Elios after having served as an executive and consultant for a number of publicly traded, privately held, private equity and pre-IPO companies. Prior to consulting, Mr. Johnson served as chief financial officer for Xeris Pharmaceuticals. Prior to Xeris, Mr. Johnson was vice president and corporate controller at ArthroCare Corporation. Earlier in his career, he served in several key finance and leadership roles at Maverick Tube Corporation, SAVI, LLC and Primary Webworks.

Big Lots, Inc. [COLUMBUS, OH] (NYSE: BIG) announced that Jonathan Ramsden has been appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, effective August 5, 2019. Ramsden will succeed Timothy A. Johnson, who will transition away from his roles effective August 5, 2019, to pursue other opportunities. Ramsden spent over seven years with Abercrombie & Fitch Co., joining as Chief Financial Officer in 2008 and later serving as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Prior to A&F, he spent ten years as Chief Financial Officer of TBWA Worldwide, a global marketing services group, after having served as Controller of TBWA’s parent, the Omnicom Group Inc.

PDL BioPharma, Inc. [INCLINE VILLAGE, NV] (NASDAQ: PDLI) announced the resignation of Chief Financial Officer, Peter Garcia, who will be leaving the Company effective August 15, 2019.

Shutterstock, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: SSTK) announced that Co-Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer Steven Berns will depart from his roles at Shutterstock to pursue other opportunities. The Company’s Chief Accounting Officer, Steve Ciardiello has been appointed to the role of interim Chief Financial Officer.

Vista Gold Corp. [DENVER, COLORADO] (TSX & NYSE American: VGZ) announced the appointment of Douglas Tobler as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. He succeeds Jack Engele, who is retiring as Sr. Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, following 6 ½ years of service with the Company. Tobler most recently was CFO of Lydian International. Prior to Lydian, Tobler was CFO of Alacer Gold Corp.

Hemispherx Biopharma, Inc. [OCALA, Fla.] (NYSE American: HEB) announced that Adam Pascale is retiring from the position of Chief Financial Officer after nearly a quarter century with the company. Pascale joined Hemispherx in 1995 as an accounting manager, rising to the position of Chief Accounting Officer before being named CFO in 2016.

Globus Medical [AUDUBON, PA] (NYSE: GMED) announced the appointment of Keith W. Pfeil as its Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective August 19, 2019. Pfeil joins Globus Medical after almost 16 years at CSS Industries, most recently as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Independent Bank Corporation [GRAND RAPIDS, MI] (NASDAQ: IBCP), the holding company of Independent Bank, announced that Robert Shuster, the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation and the Bank, has notified the organization of his intention to retire on or about Jan. 31, 2020. Mr. Shuster has served as the Chief Financial Officer since May 2001 and prior to that served as the President and CEO of a subsidiary bank of the Corporation from September 1999 to May 2001.  Mr. Shuster first joined Independent Bank Corporation in September 1999, when the Corporation acquired Mutual Savings Bank, where he had served as President and CEO since November 1994.

Energy Focus, Inc. [SOLON, OH] (NASDAQ: EFOI) announced that Tod A. Nestor joined the company as its President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary. From 2017 to 2018, Mr. Nestor served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Alumni Ventures Group. Between 2013 and 2016, Mr. Nestor served as the Chief Financial Officer of Merchants Automotive Group, Inc. Previously, Mr. Nestor also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Penn Traffic Company, and Chief Financial Officer for Fairway Holdings Corp. Earlier in his career, Nestor held other senior leadership roles across a wide array of functions in large organizations such as American Eagle Outfitters, HJ Heinz, and WR Grace.

Trevena Inc. [CHESTERBROOK, PA] (NASDAQ: TRVN) announced the appointment of Barry Shin as Chief Financial Officer. Shin was previously Managing Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at Mizuho Securities.  Prior to joining Mizuho Securities, he was a Managing Director in Guggenheim Securities’ Healthcare Investment Banking Group from 2012 to 2017.  From 2005 to 2012, he served in positions of increasing responsibility within the Healthcare Investment Banking Group of Piper Jaffray.  From 2001 to 2005, he advised healthcare and technology companies in financing and M&A transactions as a corporate attorney.

Mala Murthy

Teladoc Health, Inc. [PURCHASE, NY] (NYSE: TDOC) announced that it has named Mala Murthy as chief financial officer. Most recently, Murthy was CFO of the Global Commercial Services Segment of American Express. Prior to that, she held various leadership positions with PepsiCo, most notably leading high growth business units with oversight of financial planning and analysis, corporate and international treasury, and corporate strategy.

Carrie Anderson

Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corporation [PLAINSBORO, N.J.] announced the promotion of Glenn Coleman to the newly-created role of chief operating officer (COO) and appointed Carrie Anderson as chief financial officer (CFO). Coleman most recently served as CFO and corporate vice president, responsible for Integra’s international business.  In this role, Mr. Coleman oversaw accounting and financial reporting, budgeting, internal audit, tax, treasury, investor relations and IT while also leading our international business.  Prior to joining Integra as CFO in 2014, Glenn spent 25 years in financial management positions of increasing responsibility with leading global businesses, including Curtiss-Wright and Alcatel-Lucent. Anderson most recently served as chief accounting officer and corporate controller at Dover Corporation. In addition, she served as chief financial officer for two of Dover’s multi-billion dollar segments.  Prior to Dover Corporation, Ms. Anderson spent over a decade at Aptiv (formerly Delphi), serving in various finance functions, including capital planning and investor relations, and ultimately, global segment chief financial officer.  She began her career with General Motors in 1991.

Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (Shentel) [EDINBURG, VA] (NASDAQ: SHEN) announced that Jim Volk has joined the Company as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.  Volk most recently served as Vice President, Finance and Investor Relations of Uniti Group Inc., from 2016 to 2018.  Prior to joining Uniti, he served as Chief Financial Officer of multiple public and private telecommunications companies, including PEG Bandwidth from 2012 to 2016, Hargray Communications Group from 2010 to 2012, and UbiquiTel Inc. from 2001 to 2006.  He previously held senior finance positions with AT&T (formerly Cingular Wireless and SBC Wireless) and Comcast. Volk began his professional career as a Senior Accountant with Deloitte.

Ed Sitar

Innovate Biopharmaceuticals, Inc [RALEIGH, NC] (NASDAQ: INNT) announced the appointment of Ed Sitar as its Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Sitar was the chief financial officer of Ammon Labs and Cancer Genetics. He previously has served as the financial leader for a variety of other healthcare companies, including ActiveHealth Management and Cadent Holdings.

Morae Global Corporation [HOUSTON, TEXAS] announced James Rojas has been named Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Rojas spent the first 15 years of his career as a consultant and transitioned into senior leadership roles at companies, including Huron Consulting Group, HBR, US Foodservice and Stop & Shop and Giant grocery chains.

John Scott

Market Force Information [PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA] announced that it has appointed John Scott as its Chief Financial Officer. Scott was most recently the CFO for Network Twentyone International.

Ouster [SAN FRANCISCO] announced that it has appointed Oliver Hutaff as its first Chief Financial Officer.  Hutaff was previously COO/CFO at Electric Imp from 2013 to 2019 and CFO at Roku Inc. from 2010 to 2012.

Edward Kinsey

Robomart [MILPITAS, Calif.] announced the addition of Edward P. Kinsey to the role of CFO. Kinsey is a serial entrepreneur and senior executive. He was the co-founding CFO of e-commerce giant Ariba. Kinsey most recently served on the Advisory Board of Docusign.

Impel NeuroPharma [SEATTLE] announced the appointment of John Leaman as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. Leaman most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer and Head of Corporate Development at Selecta Biosciences. His prior appointments include serving as Head of Corporate Development at InfaCare Pharmaceutical Corp., Chief Financial Officer of Medgenics Inc., and senior roles at Shire plc. and Devon Park Bioventures. John began his career serving a range of life sciences companies as an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company.

Orrstown Financial Services, Inc. [SHIPPENSBURG, PA] (NASDAQ: ORRF), the parent company of Orrstown Bank and Wheatland Advisors, Inc., announced that Thomas R. Brugger will join the Company and the Bank as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective July 15, 2019. Most recently, Brugger served as the Chief Financial Officer of Sun National Bank and, prior to his approximately six year tenure at Sun National, served as CFO of Customers Bank, following 15 years as EVP/Corporate Treasurer of Sovereign Bank (now Santander).

Chris Nagel

Leaf Home Solutions [HUDSON, Ohio] announced the appointment of Christopher Nagel as Chief Financial Officer. Nagel joins Leaf Home Solutions from Fairmount Santrol, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. Larry Napolitan, who has been CFO since 2016, will remain at Leaf Home Solutions under the newly created position of Vice President of Finance.

Dyadic International, Inc. [JUPITER, FL] (NASDAQ: DYAI) announced the appointment of Ping Rawson to Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Rawson was previously the Chief Accounting Officer of Dyadic and joined the Company in 2016. Prior to joining Dyadic, Ms. Rawson has served in a variety of finance and accounting management roles in several publicly-traded companies.

Karl Jaeger

Artivest [NEW YORK and SAN DIEGO] announced the appointment of Karl Jaeger as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Artivest, Jaeger was CFO of Strategic Insight. He previously served as CFO of Fundtech, and as CFO and Chief Operating Officer of Wall Street Systems. Earlier in his career, he spent 14 years with Thomson Financial (now Thompson Reuters), where he last served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Business Development.

ComplySci [NEW YORK] named Bill Fahrbach as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining ComplySci, Fahrbach held the CFO position at Watermark, Workwave and Mobile Commons. He also served as Senior Director of Corporate Development and Product Operations for Oragenics, Inc.

MSA Security [NEW YORK] announced that former Chief Financial Officer, Michael Kennedy, has been named Chief Administrative Officer. Dean Gels has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining MSA, Gels most recently served as CFO at OVH US. Prior to OVH, he served as the Vice President of Corporate Development at Borderfree.
