Domino’s Pizza, Inc. (NYSE: DPZ) announced that Michael T. Lawton will be retiring as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. He will be succeeded by Jeffrey D. Lawrence, current Treasurer of Domino’s, who has been with the Company since 2000. Lawrence began his career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen.
Polaris Industries Inc. (NYSE: PII) announced that Michael Malone has declared his intention to retire as Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Mike Speetzen will replace Malone. Prior to Speetzen’s role as CFO at Xylem Inc., he served as CFO of ITT Fluid and Motion Controls. From 2007 to 2009 Speetzen was CFO of StandardAero. Mike spent 12 years in positions with Honeywell International.
Xylem Inc. (NYSE: XYL) announced that Michael T. Speetzen, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has resigned his position with the company. Shashank Patel, a 19-year veteran of the Company and its former parent, will serve as interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mr. Patel currently serves as CFO and Vice President, Finance for Xylem’s Applied Water Systems division.
Tauriga Sciences, Inc. (OTCQB: TAUG) announced the appointment of Ghalia Lahlou as Interim Chief Financial Officer.
Couchbase, Inc. announced that Jeff Epstein has joined its board of directors as an independent board member. Epstein, former chief financial officer (CFO) of Oracle Corporation, has been the CFO of several public and private companies, including DoubleClick, King World Production, and Nielsen’s Media Measurement and Information Group.
AnaptysBio, Inc. announced the appointment of Robert E. Hoffman as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining AnaptysBio, Mr. Hoffman was employed by Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since June 2012. From March 2011 to August 2011, Mr. Hoffman served as Chief Financial Officer for Polaris Group.
Atlas Holdings LLC announced that Cheri Reeve has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Reeve most recently served as Vice President of Finance at Atlas. She joined the firm in 2010 after serving in senior financial roles with the Commonfund.
ByteGrid Holdings LLC announced the appointment of Jay Sinder as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Most recently, he served as the Chief Executive Officer for CoreLink Data Centers. Prior to this he served as the CFO for Hostway Corporation and Focal Communications. Prior to this he held senior finance positions at Ameritech, MCI Communications, Telephone and Data Systems and IBM.
Nitro announced the appointment of Peter Bardwick as chief financial officer. His most recent role was CFO at Rocket Fuel. Bardwick began his career in investment banking with Citicorp and Salomon Brothers in New York.
Aridis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. announced the appointment of Fred Kurland as the Company’s first Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Aridis, Fred Kurland served as Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance and Secretary of XOMA Corporation since December 2008.
ABBYY announced the appointment of Arthur Whipple to the role of chief financial officer. Prior to his position at ABBYY, Whipple was the CFO for several companies in the semiconductor industry including, Quicklogic Corporation, Teknovus, Inc., Silicon Storage Technology and, most recently, PLX Technology.
Tracx Inc. announced the appointment of former CEO of Mojiva, Bennett Theimann, as chief financial officer. Prior to his work at Mojiva, Theimann served as CFO at TargetSpot, Inc., Senior VP and Chief Procurement Officer at Hachette Filipacchi Media, CFO at Cellfish Media, President of Axel Springer Group and General Manager of Gruner+Jahr Publishing.
Florida Community Bank announced the appointment of Jennifer L. Simons to the post of Deputy Chief Financial Officer. Most recently she was Vice President and Senior Manager at PNC Financial Services Group. Prior to this position Ms. Simons held various leadership positions with US Bancorp, TCF National Bank, GMAC Residential Capital and GE Capital Fleet Services.
PIMCO has hired John Lane as Executive Vice President and Global Chief Financial Officer. He joins the firm from Apollo Global Management. Prior to that, Mr. Lane worked at Lehman Brothers, serving as the Chief Financial Officer.
Athene Holding Ltd. announced that the Company has named Guy H. Smith III (Chip) as Interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Smith will assume these responsibilities as a result of current CFO Brenda Cushing’s decision to pursue other opportunities. Mr. Smith previously served as Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and President and CEO of Liberty Life Insurance.
Exelixis, Inc. (NASDAQ:EXEL) announced the appointment of Christopher J. Senner as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He joins Exelixis after five years at Gilead Sciences, where he served as Vice President, Corporate Finance. He previously spent eighteen years at Wyeth.
Kneaders Bakery & Cafe announced that David Vincent (current Kneaders CFO) will assume the role of President and CFO.
Gladstone Investment Corporation (NASDAQ: GAIN) announced that its board of directors appointed Julia Ryan, the Company’s current Chief Accounting Officer, as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Melissa Morrison, the former Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Company, will continue to serve as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Gladstone Capital Corporation. Ms. Ryan has served as the Company’s Chief Accounting Officer since April 2015. Prior to that time, she served as Senior Manager – Assurance Services at KPMG, LLP.
Energous Corporation (NASDAQ: WATT) has appointed Brian Sereda to the position of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Sereda will replace Interim Chief Financial Officer Howard Yeaton. Most recently, Sereda served as Chief Financial Officer of ActiveVideo. Mr. Sereda previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Virage Logic Corporation. He was also Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Proxim Wireless Corporation. Mr. Sereda also served as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller for Portal Software, and has held senior financial management positions with Credence Systems Corp., Handspring Inc., Sygen International, and Lam Research.
Synalloy Corporation (NASDAQ: SYNL) announced that Dennis M. Loughran has joined the company as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Loughran’s experience includes eleven years with Reynolds Metals Company and six years as Vice President Finance and Supply Chain with Alcoa Consumer Products. More recently, he served as the Chief Financial Officer for Rogers Corporation and Citadel Plastics.
Gravity4 has announced the hiring of former Google and eBay financial executive, Dipak Joshi, as its Chief Financial Officer. At eBay, Joshi ran international financial operations, and later, Dipak was Google’s Corporate Financial Controller. More recently, Dipak was chief financial officer at Fuze, Inc., Milestone Internet, and BitTorrent.
Green Courte Partners, LLC announced that Mark Engel will join the firm as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Engel will replace Jane Mody. Mr. Engel joins Green Courte after over twenty years at Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated, JPMorgan Chase & Co./Bank One Corporation and Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Park-Ohio Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: PKOH) announced that John D. Grampa, former Senior Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Materion Corporation, was appointed to ParkOhio’s Board of Directors. Mr. Grampa joined Materion Corporation as Vice President of Finance in 1998 and held the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer role from 1999 until the end of 2014. Prior to joining Materion, he held various executive roles at Avery Dennison Corporation and Diamond Shamrock Corporation.
CloudOne announced that it has promoted Brett Sharp to Chief Financial Officer. Sharp has served as the company’s Director of Finance since March 2015. Sharp has over 10 years of experience, working for KPMG, Harlan Laboratories and as the Director of Finance for Bluelock.
Vintage Wine Estates announced the appointment of Karen L. Diepholz to Chief Financial Officer. Diepholz was most recently Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for Equinox Payments. Prior to that, she was Vice President, Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis for Hypercom Corporation.
Kewaunee Scientific Corporation (NASDAQ: KEQU) reported that D. Michael Parker, its Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, and Secretary, has announced his plans to retire by the end of calendar year.
B2R Finance announced that Darren Thompson has joined the company as chief financial officer and executive vice president of strategy. Thompson has more than 30 years’ experience at companies including American Express, Fannie Mae, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. Most recently, Thompson was a founding partner of Railfield Partners, LLC.
ThinkingPhones announced that Don Pratt has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, he was CFO at Arbor Networks. Prior to Arbor, Don was CFO of Ellacoya and Taqua. He also held leadership roles in large public companies including Texas Instruments, FMC, and Boston Whaler/Reebok.
MMA Capital Management, LLC (NASDAQ: MMAC) announced that it has hired David Bjarnason to succeed Lisa Roberts as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Bjarnason joins the Company from Fannie Mae, where he was a finance officer. Prior to joining Fannie Mae, Mr. Bjarnason served in senior finance, consulting and financial statement audit roles with JPMorgan Chase & Co., CapitalSource, Inc., Freddie Mac, Deloitte LLP and KPMG LLP.
Bryn Mawr Bank Corporation (NASDAQ: BMTC) announced the appointment of David M. Takats as interim Chief Financial Officer. The Corporation also announced the resignation of Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, J. Duncan Smith. Prior to joining the Bank, Takats was the Chief Financial Officer of First Keystone Financial, Inc. He also served as Senior Staff Accountant with Rosenbluth International, Inc., from 1995 to 2000.
