Retail Value Inc. [BEACHWOOD, OH] (NYSE: RVI) announced the resignation of Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, Matthew Ostrower, effective on November 27, 2019, to pursue a new opportunity. Following his departure, Christa Vesy will serve as the Company’s Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer. Vesy has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of RVI since February 2018 and as Executive Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of SITE Centers Corp., the parent of RVI’s external manager, since March 2012. Prior to joining SITE Centers, Vesy worked for The Lubrizol Corporation, where she served as manager of external financial reporting and then as controller for the lubricant additives business segment. Prior to joining Lubrizol, from 1993 to September 2004, Vesy held various positions with the Assurance and Business Advisory Services group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, including Senior Manager from 1999 to September 2004.
NortonLifeLock [TEMPE, AZ] (NASDAQ: NLOK) announced that Vincent Pilette, NortonLifeLock’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Matthew Brown, NortonLifeLock’s Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, has been appointed Interim Chief Financial Officer. Brown joined Symantec in October 2015 and has held multiple positions in the finance team of increasing leadership before becoming the Company’s Chief Accounting Officer in January 2019. Prior to that, he served as Symantec’s Vice President, Finance from August 2016 to January 2019 and as Vice President, Corporate Controller of Blue Coat, Inc. from October 2015 until Symantec acquired that company in August 2016. Previously, he served in various positions at NETGEAR, Inc., a computer networking hardware company, from 2010 to October 2015, most recently as Senior Director, Assistant Controller.
Pulse Biosciences, Inc. [HAYWARD, CA] (NASDAQ: PLSE) announced that Sandra (“Sandy”) Gardiner will be joining as the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective November 18, 2019. Brian Dow has elected to resign as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer to pursue other interests, he will continue as CFO until November 18, 2019 and will continue with the Company in a transitional role until December 31, 2019. Gardiner was most recently Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Cutera, Inc. Prior to that, Gardiner served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Tria Beauty, Inc. Prior to these roles, Gardiner held a series of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer positions with both publicly traded and privately held companies.
Ekos [CHARLOTTE, NC] announced the addition of Chief Financial Officer Chris Rosbrook to its executive team. Rosbrook joins Ekos from MapAnything, where he served as CFO. Prior to MapAnything, he served as managing director at Piper Jaffray Companies, and spent nine years at Edgeview Partners. He began his career at MAGMA Foundry Technologies, Inc.
Applicaster [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Bennett Theimann as Chief Financial Officer. Theimann started his career in traditional media at Gruner+Jahr. Prior to Applicaster, Theimann was the CFO at Conductor, having also served as COO, and subsequently CEO, of the global mobile display company, Mojiva.
Cresset [CHICAGO]announced that Michael Costabile has been named as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Cresset Asset Management, an SEC registered investment advisor. Costabile joins Cresset as CFO of Cresset Asset Management after most recently serving as CFO of Moneta Group. Prior to that role, he was the CFO and Chief Human Resources Officer of Intalere (formerly Amerinet).
Guess?, Inc. [LOS ANGELES] (NYSE: GES) announced that Katie Anderson has been appointed Chief Financial Officer, effective December 2, 2019. Anderson will replace Sandeep Reddy, who will be leaving the Company on December 1, 2019. Ms. Anderson joins Guess? from California Pizza Kitchen (CPK), where she has served as Chief Financial Officer since November 2016. Between 2010 and 2016, Anderson held other finance roles at CPK including Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance and Senior Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis. After leaving CPK in February 2016 to become the CFO of Sprinkles Cupcakes, she returned to CPK as its CFO. Anderson began her career in investment banking at Citi and then Moelis & Company.
SITE Centers Corp. [BEACHWOOD, OH] (NYSE: SITC) announced the resignation of Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, Matthew Ostrower, effective on November 27, 2019, to pursue a new opportunity. Following his departure, Ostrower will be replaced by Conor Fennerty, who joined SITE Centers in April 2017, serving since then as Senior Vice President of Capital Markets.
Canterbury Group [GRAND CAYMAN, Cayman Islands & DALLAS, Texas] announced the addition of Scott Mills as Chief Financial Officer. Mills joins Canterbury from Dean Foods, where he spent the past four years as Vice President of Commercial Finance. Mills has experience leading finance, accounting and supply chain operations in private-equity owned companies, including working as CFO for Genesis Today and as Vice President of Finance and Operations at Advanced Beauty. Mills began his finance career at PepsiCo’s Frito Lay division, where he spent 12 years in roles of increasing responsibility, lastly as Director of Operations Finance, Strategy and Sustainability. Mills previously also held financial posts at Radio Shack and Brinker International. Mills will be based out of the company’s newly-established office in Dallas, Texas.
BioDuro, LLC [SAN DIEGO] announced the appointment of Jeffery Blazevich as the new Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining BioDuro, Jeff was the CFO for Zest Dental Solutions. From 2008 to 2013, he served as Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller for DJO Global. Prior to DJO Global, Jeff held CFO positions at Vativ Technologies Inc. Staccato Communications, and Applied Micro Circuits Corporation.
Legacybox [CHATTANOOGA, TN] announced it has promoted Emily Holesinger to Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Holesinger, who has nearly 15 years’ experience across finance and accounting, joined Legacybox earlier this year as Controller. Prior to joining Legacybox, Holesinger served as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at U.S. Xpress, Inc.
AppLovin [PALO ALTO, CA] announced that Herald Chen joined the company as President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and remains on the AppLovin board. Chen was most recently head of Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) in the Americas at KKR, where he led the firm’s investment in AppLovin. He rejoined KKR in 2007, having previously worked for the firm from 1995 to 1997, and served as Chairman of the Board for several companies, including BMC, Epicor Software, Optiv Security and Mitchell International. In addition to AppLovin, Chen will continue to serve on the Board of Directors of WebMD, Internet Brands, GoDaddy, Teach for America-Bay Area and the University of Pennsylvania’s Management and Technology Program. His operational experience includes roles as CEO of ACMI Corporation and Co-founder and CFO of Jamcracker, Inc.
Bluebird Network, LLC [COLUMBIA, MO] welcomed Carla Cooper as its new Chief Financial Officer. Cooper will play a key role in the strategic direction of Bluebird and will oversee all aspects of finance. She is a versatile leader bringing three decades of experience across various industries and is dedicated to supporting the vision, values and culture that leads to success. Cooper previously served Fidelity Communications Co. as the Vice President of Finance/CFO and Director of Regulatory Accounting. She also serves on the Board of Directors of EMPAQ Group Inc. and the Sullivan Educational Foundation.
CBD Brands [JUPITER, FL] announced that it has hired Douglas McKinnon as CFO. Before joining the company, McKinnon served in multiple c-level executive positions in both the private and public sectors, including Chairman, CEO and CFO.

Reid Sullivan
Entertainment Studios [LOS ANGELES] announced the appointment of Reid Sullivan as Chief Financial Officer of Allen’s motion picture division, Entertainment Studios Motion Pictures. Sullivan comes directly to Entertainment Studios after 11 years as Chief Financial Officer of CBS Films. Sullivan started his career in the audit division of Arthur Andersen & Company. He then served as Director of Financial Operations for the Sony’s Columbia Pictures, and then as Vice President and Controller for Sony’s Columbia Tri-Star Film Distributors International unit. More recently, Sullivan held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Village Roadshow Pictures Entertainment.
The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. [LAKE SUCCESS, NY] (NASDAQ: HAIN) announced Javier H. Idrovo is joining the Company as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective December 2, 2019. Prior to joining Hain Celestial, Mr. Idrovo held leadership positions at The Hershey Company, serving most recently as Chief Accounting Officer. Prior to becoming Chief Accounting Officer, he served in the roles of Senior Vice President, Finance and Planning as well as Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business Development. Prior to joining The Hershey Company, Idrovo held roles of increasing responsibility at Dole Food Company, Inc. including Chief Financial Officer and then President of Dole Packaged Foods. Earlier in his career, Mr. Idrovo worked at The Boston Consulting Group, Inc. Idrovo will succeed James Langrock, who has served as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer for the past several years.
Qualcomm Incorporated [SAN DIEGO] (NASDAQ: QCOM) announced the appointment of Akash Palkhiwala as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Palkhiwala has been serving the Company as interim CFO since August. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and finance lead for QCT. Palkhiwala joined Qualcomm in 2001 and has held a variety of roles in Finance, including Treasurer and lead for Corporate Finance overseeing Qualcomm’s overall financial planning and analysis.
Optoro [WASHINGTON] announced the addition of Katy McCarthy as Chief Financial Officer. McCarthy, Optoro’s new CFO, was previously CFO and then Chairman and CEO of Geeknet (GKNT), the parent company of ThinkGeek.com. McCarthy previously spent 18 years at GE, rising to the executive ranks running corporate audit and also was the CFO of GE Healthcare.
Natural Gas Services Group, Inc. [MIDLAND, Texas] (NYSE: NGS) announced that G. Larry Lawrence, the Company’s Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary will retire from the Company effective November 15, 2019. He will also relinquish his position as Principal Accounting Officer. Coincident with the retirement of Larry Lawrence, the NGS Board of Directors has appointed James (“Jim”) R. Lawrence as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of the Company, effective November 16, 2019. Mr. Lawrence will also assume the role as Principal Accounting Officer. Jim Lawrence joined the Company on October 1, 2019. Previously, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Bold Energy III LLC. Prior to joining Bold, Mr. Lawrence served as Vice President-Finance and Treasurer for Legacy Reserves LP, from 2010 to 2014. Prior to joining Legacy, Mr. Lawrence worked for nine years in investment banking, including the last six years in the Energy Investment Banking Group at Raymond James & Associates, where he served as a Vice President. (James R. Lawrence is not related to G. Larry Lawrence).
CorMedix Inc. [BERKELEY HEIGHTS, N.J.] (NYSE American: CRMD) announced that the Company and Robert Cook, the Chief Financial Officer of the Company, have mutually agreed not to renew his employment agreement, which expires on January 31, 2020.
Kaleido Biosciences, Inc. [LEXINGTON, MA] (NASDAQ: KLDO) announced the appointment of William Duke as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective November 25, 2019. Duke joins Kaleido from Pulmatrix, Inc. where he has been CFO. Prior to Pulmatrix, he served as CFO of Valeritas, Inc. Duke also was senior director of finance at Genzyme Corporation, and director of finance/accounting at Haemonetics Corporation. Earlier in his career he held CFO positions at G8wave, and OTF Group, Inc.

Christopher Ross
AK Steel [WEST CHESTER, Ohio] (NYSE: AKS) said that Jaime Vasquez, Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer, will retire effective November 30, 2019. Christopher J. Ross, AK Steel Vice President and Treasurer, has been named Vice President, Treasurer and Interim Chief Financial Officer. Chris was named Vice President and Treasurer in January 2018. Prior to that role he served as Treasurer since 2016 and General Manager, Cash Management since 2012. Chris has served in a number of financial and strategic roles since joining the company over 20 years ago, including strategic planning, financial planning and analysis, products and marketing, investor relations and accounting. He began his AK Steel career in 1997 as a Cost Accountant at Middletown Works. Outside of his AK Steel career, Chris served as Director of Investor Relations for Omnicare, Inc. and held Credit and Portfolio Manager positions with U.S. Bank and J.P. Morgan.
Astec Industries, Inc. [CHATTANOOGA, TN] (NASDAQ: ASTE) announced that Rebecca Weyenberg will join the company as Chief Financial Officer, effective December 4, 2019. Weyenberg succeeds David Silvious, who will be leaving the Company at the end of the year to pursue other interests. Prior to joining Astec, Weyenberg served as VP Global Financial Operations at Welbilt Inc. Prior to joining Welbilt, Weyenberg led Business Transformation efforts at the AGCO Corporation as its Vice President, Global Processes, Standard and Shared Services.
Cognition Therapeutics, Inc. [PITTSBURGH] announced that James M. O’Brien has joined the Company as chief financial officer. Prior to joining Cognition, he served as the executive vice president of finance at Enzo Biochem, Inc. Before Enzo, O’Brien was vice president and corporate controller at Actavis PLC (now Allergan, Inc.). Earlier in his career, he held positions with increasing responsibilities at life sciences companies including Nycomed and Bristol-Myers Squibb, and spent close to a decade at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Penn Virginia Corporation [HOUSTON] (NASDAQ: PVAC) announced that Russell T. Kelley, Jr. has been named Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer effective November 13, 2019. Kelley previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Extraction Oil & Gas, Inc. Prior to joining Extraction Oil & Gas, Mr. Kelley ran the Oil & Gas practice of Moelis & Company. Prior to that, he worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he was a Senior Vice President.
Reed’s Inc. [NORWALK, CT] (NASDAQ: REED) announced the departure of Chief Financial Officer Iris Snyder, who is leaving the Company to pursue another opportunity, and the appointment of Joann Tinnelly as Interim Chief Financial Officer. Tinnelly has served as Vice President and Corporate Controller of Reed’s Inc. since July 2018. Prior to joining Reed’s she served at Assistant Controller of Steel Excel, Inc. a subsidiary of Steel Partners Holdings. Tinnelly also served as Vice President Financial Planning & Analysis and as Assistant Corporate Controller at USI Insurance Services, Assistant Vice President of Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) Group, served in multiple financial roles at Momentive Performance Materials and financial auditing at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Carla Luke
MGT Consulting Group [TAMPA, FL] announced that Carla Luke has joined MGT as Chief Financial Officer. Before joining MGT, Luke worked at Vector Solutions as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Vector Solutions, Luke served as the CFO at Greenway Health. Prior to her nearly 14 years with Greenway Health, Luke worked in financial leadership roles at Comdial Corporation, Vicorp, and Danka Business Systems after starting her career in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Farmer Bros. Co. [NORTHLAKE, TX] (NASDAQ: FARM) announced the appointment of Scott Lyon as interim principal financial and accounting officer. David Robson has departed the Company. Lyon joined Farmer Brothers in August 2018 as its Assistant Controller and has served in the role of Corporate Controller since October 2018. Prior to joining the Company, Lyon served as Assistant Controller of ION Geophysical, from April 2016 to August 2018. Prior to that, Lyon served as SEC Reporting Manager from September 2013 to April 2016, of Ensco Plc.
TreeHouse Foods, Inc. [OAK BROOK, IL] (NYSE: THS) announced that William J. Kelley, Jr., currently Senior Vice President, Corporate and Operations Finance, has been appointed Interim Chief Financial Officer of TreeHouse. He replaces Matthew Foulston, who after a three-month transition period will be pursuing other career opportunities. Kelley joined TreeHouse in 2016 as Corporate Controller. He was previously Head of Global Audit for Kraft Heinz Company, where he worked from 2014-2016. Before that, he spent two years as Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer at Hillshire Brands, the spin-off successor company to Sara Lee Corporation. From 2010 to 2012, he was Vice President and Corporate Controller at USG Corporation. He spent the previous ten years in a variety of increasingly senior finance roles at PepsiAmericas. His earlier career service included key finance and accounting roles at Arthur Andersen and Cargill.
FGL Holdings [DES MOINES, IA] (NYSE: FG) announced the appointment of John Fleurant as Chief Financial Officer. Fleurant succeeds Dennis Vigneau, who previously announced his intention to retire at the end of 2019. Most recently, Fleurant served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for New York Life since 2013, after previously serving as Senior Vice President of Finance and Controller from 2010 to 2013. Previously, John spent 15 years at Prudential in a number of leadership roles. In John’s latest tenure at Prudential, he occupied the positions of Corporate Controller and Chief Financial Officer, U.S. Businesses. John began his career at Deloitte.

Scott Javor
Rhapsody International Inc. [SEATTLE] announced the appointment of Scott Javor as senior vice president, chief financial officer. Most recently, Javor held the position of managing director at FTI Consulting and FTI Capital Advisors. Previously, he served as the Vice President of GE Capital’s Media, Communications & Entertainment business.

Patrick Donoghue
Truckstop.com [BOISE, Idaho] announced that Patrick Donoghue has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Donoghue joins Truckstop.com from Trilogy Education Services. Donoghue’s last several CFO positions were in EdTech. Prior to that, Donoghue held senior finance roles with CCC Information Services. Donoghue replaces Mark Robinson. Robinson retired in October to spend time with his family.
Inkling [SAN FRANCISCO] announced that Eileen Treanor has joined the company as chief financial officer (CFO). Prior to Inkling, she served as the CFO of Lever, and the vice president of Finance for Wikia. She has also held senior-level finance positions at Virgin America and Yahoo!.
McDermott International, Inc. [HOUSTON] (NYSE: MDR) announced the appointment of Chris Krummel as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Krummel joined McDermott in 2016 and previously served as the company’s Global Vice President, Finance and Chief Accounting Officer. He replaces Stuart Spence, who has resigned from McDermott to pursue other opportunities. Prior to joining McDermott, Krummel served as: a consultant of American Industrial Partners, a firm engaging in private equity investments in industrial businesses in the United States and Canada; Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of EnTrans International, LLC; and Chief Accounting Officer, Vice President and Corporate Controller/Vice President of Finance of Cameron International.

Mike Burnett
Offerpad [PHOENIX] announced the hiring of Mike Burnett to serve as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Offerpad, he served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of AV Homes, Inc. Previously, Burnett worked for JDA Software Group, Inc. as Group Vice President, Finance, Treasury and Investor Relations. During his career, Burnett has also served as the Chief Financial Officer for American Traffic Solutions Inc. and Senior Vice President, Treasurer at Allied Waste Industries, Inc.

Jody Johnson
SeQuel Response [EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.] announced the promotion of Jody Johnson to Chief Financial Officer. Johnson joined SeQuel in August 2018 as the Vice President of Finance. Johnson brings more than a decade of experience in various financial leadership roles at organizations such as NovuHealth, HealthFitness, Convey Compliance Systems and CHS.
