Mark Oldemeyer

Centrify [SANTA CLARA, CA] announced the company has hired Mark Oldemeyer as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mr. Oldemeyer steps into the role previously held by current Centrify CEO, Tim Steinkopf. Oldemeyer joins Centrify from PowerSchool where he served as CFO.

Pulmonx Corporation [REDWOOD CITY, CA] announced the hiring of Derrick Sung as its Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Pulmonx, Derrick was Executive Vice President, Strategy & Corporate Development at iRhythm Technologies, Inc. Prior to iRhythm, Derrick spent seven years on Wall Street as the senior equity research analyst covering the medical device sector for Sanford C. Bernstein & Company. Previously, Derrick was Director of Marketing and Business Development in Boston Scientific Corp.’s Neuromodulation Division; a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group; and he started his career as an R&D engineer designing heart catheters for Guidant Corporation, now a part of Abbott Vascular.

SailPoint Technologies Holdings, Inc. [AUSTIN, TX] (NYSE: SAIL) announced that Cam McMartin will transition from Chief Financial Officer to Chief Operating Officer. Jason Ream will join the organization as incoming Chief Financial Officer, effective June 10, 2019. Ream most recently served as CFO for Mitratech, Relativity and SolarWinds.

BitPay [ATLANTA, GA] announced it has hired Glen Braganza as its Chief Financial Officer. Braganza joins from Worldpay US where he served as Chief Financial Officer. Before Worldpay, Mr. Braganza spent most of his career executing Mergers & Acquisitions for financial services organizations, initially working at Lloyds Banking Group in the UK and then joining Jefferies & Co in London.

Duane Still

Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC [TAMPA, FL] has named Duane Still as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Still joins Coke Florida having recently served as the Chief Financial Officer/Senior Vice President of Finance at CSM Bakery Solutions. Prior to his role at CSM, he completed a thirty-year career in the Coca-Cola system with experience in various CFO roles. He held roles as the CFO for Coca-Cola North America, Coca-Cola Refreshments and for Coca-Cola International.

Office Properties Income Trust [NEWTON, MA] (NASDAQ: OPI) announced that Matthew C. Brown has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer effective June 1, 2019. Brown joined The RMR Group in 2007 and is responsible for accounting and finance matters affecting RMR and its managed companies, where he directs property accounting and a majority of the RMR accounting department. Prior to joining RMR in 2007, Mr. Brown worked in the audit practice of Wolf & Company, P.C. Brown succeeds Jeffrey C. Leer, who has been appointed as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Five Star Senior Living Inc., effective June 1, 2019. Brown also will be promoted to Senior Vice President of RMR effective June 1, 2019. Office Properties Income Trust is managed by the operating subsidiary of The RMR Group Inc. (NASDAQ: RMR).

Five Star Senior Living Inc. [NEWTON, MA] (NASDAQ: FVE) announced that Jeffrey C. Leer has been appointed as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, effective June 1, 2019. Mr. Leer joined The RMR Group in 2013 and is currently Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Office Properties Income Trust, and Senior Vice President of RMR. Previously, Mr. Leer served in various RMR accounting leadership functions with a primary focus on operations. Prior to joining RMR, Mr. Leer held accounting and finance positions at several multi-national public companies, including Dell Technologies, Whole Foods Market and Boston Scientific as well as practiced for several years in public accounting. Leer succeeds Richard A. Doyle, Jr. who is stepping down as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, effective May 31, 2019. To ensure a smooth transition, Mr. Doyle’s separation agreement provides that he will remain a non-officer employee of Five Star and RMR following May 31, 2019 and until December 31, 2019. Mr. Doyle has been with Five Star most recently since 2016 and previously served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Senior Housing Properties Trust from 2007 to 2016.

Rani Therapeutics [SAN JOSE, CA] announced that Svai Sanford has joined the company as its first Chief Financial Officer. Sanford brings more than two decades of experience as a finance and operations executive at companies including SFJ Pharmaceuticals, VIVUS Inc. and Elan Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Perrigo Co.).

Digi International  [HOPKINS, MN] (NASDAQ: DGII) announced the appointment of James “Jamie” J. Loch to the role of Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer of the company. Loch is the former Senior Vice President and CFO of Nilfisk, Inc. Previously, Loch served as CFO (Americas) for Honeywell Building Solutions, a division of Honeywell International. Loch replaces Brian Ballenger, Interim Treasurer and Acting Principal Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer, who will resume his role as Vice President of Finance and Accounting.

MDC Partners Inc. [NEW YORK, NY] announced that Frank Lanuto will take on the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, replacing outgoing CFO David Doft.  Most recently, he was Vice President, Corporate Controller at Movado Group, Inc. Prior to joining Movado Group, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Ranstad USA. Previously, Lanuto spent over 15 years overseeing global financial functions and operations activities in the advertising, marketing and media services industries, most recently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Initiative Media Worldwide. He also led Publicis Healthcare Communications as Chief Financial Officer, after integrating the acquisition of Bcom3 Group, Inc., and he served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Rapp Collins Worldwide in New York, part of Omnicom.

Randal J. Rabe

The National Capital Bank of Washington (NCB) [WASHINGTON, DC] announced that Randal J. Rabe has been appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Rabe joins NCB’s executive management team with over 30 years of financial accounting and financial services experience in a number of senior level management positions with community banks in Michigan and Georgia.

Aflac Incorporated [COLUMBUS, GA] (NYSE: AFL) announced that Steven K. Beaver has been named senior vice president; chief financial officer, Aflac U.S. Beaver joined Aflac in 2012 as vice president of Corporate Tax. He was promoted to deputy chief accounting officer in 2015, responsible for overseeing Aflac’s SEC and statutory financial reporting, treasury services and tax functions. In January 2017, he was named senior vice president of Global Strategic Projects, responsible for overseeing the conversion of Aflac’s Japan branch to a subsidiary and monitoring the U.S. tax reform. In 2018, Beaver was named senior vice president of corporate financial planning and analysis.  Prior to joining Aflac he was vice president of Corporate Tax for Nationwide.

ChannelAdvisor Corporation [RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC] (NYSE: ECOM) announced the retirement of Chief Financial Officer, Mark Cook. The Board of Directors has appointed Richard Cornetta, ChannelAdvisor’s Vice President, Finance and Chief Accounting Officer to succeed Cook as Chief Financial Officer.  Cornetta joined ChannelAdvisor in 2013 as Corporate Controller and has served as Vice President, Finance and Chief Accounting Officer since 2015.  Prior to joining ChannelAdvisor, Mr. Cornetta served in financial leadership positions at Dex Media, Inc. and UST Inc. and began his professional career with Ernst & Young.

Empire Bancorp, Inc. [ISLANDIA, NY] (OTCQX: EMPK), the parent holding company of Empire National Bank, announced that Chief Financial Officer Janet T. Verneuille plans to depart the company to explore other opportunities, effective May 17, 2019.  President Thomas M. Buonaiuto will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer on an interim basis. Before becoming President of Empire Bancorp and Empire National Bank, Mr. Buonaiuto served as Chief Financial Officer of Union State Bank, and prior thereto, as Chief Financial Officer of Long Island Commercial Bank, and its holding company Long Island Financial Corp.  He began his business career as an audit manager for KPMG.

William C. Dockman

W. R. Grace & Co. [COLUMBIA, MD] (NYSE: GRA) announced that it appointed William C. Dockman as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Dockman had been serving as interim CFO since May 2018. Dockman most recently was Vice President, Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Advanced Refining Technologies (ART), Grace’s joint venture with Chevron, and before that as Director, Financial Planning and Analysis. Prior to joining Grace in 1999, Mr. Dockman held finance leadership roles at MedStar Health, KPMG, and the University of Maryland Medical System.

Green Plains Inc. [OMAHA, NE] (NASDAQ: GPRE) announced that Patrich Simpkins, Chief Development Officer, will take over as Chief Financial Officer of Green Plains and Green Plains Partners LP (NASDAQ: GPP). Mr. Simpkins promotion to Chief Financial Officer comes as current CFO John Neppl, has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Bunge Limited. Simpkins has served as Chief Development Officer since October 2014, previously serving as Chief Risk Officer from October 2014 through August 2016 and as Executive Vice President of Finance and Treasurer from May 2012 to October 2014.  Prior to joining Green Plains, Mr. Simpkins held a number of senior management positions with SensorLogic, Inc., TXU Corporation, Duke Energy Corporation, and Louis Dreyfus Energy.

Bobit Business Media [TORRANCE, CA] announced that Anthony Shepherd has joined the company as its Chief Financial Officer.  Shepherd joins Bobit from Cal Net Technology Group where he also served as CFO.  Prior to being CFO of Cal Net Technology, Shepherd held similar positions in various industries including IT Services, Manufacturing, Value-Added Distribution, and High-Tech Equipment.  Shepherd started his career with Price Waterhouse specializing in forensic accounting in the firm’s Corporate Recovery group.

California BanCorp [OAKLAND, CA] (OTCQX: CALB), the holding company for California Bank of Commerce, named Thomas A. Sa as its next Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer effective May 20, 2019. Current Chief Financial Officer Randall Greenfield, who has served at the Bank since its inception in 2007, will continue through an interim transition period prior to his retirement. Sa most recently served as Chief Risk Officer at Western Alliance Bank. Sa was the founding Chief Financial Officer for Bridge Bank, NA and its holding company, Bridge Capital Holdings. Previously, Sa served in senior financial management roles in banking, leasing and software companies.

FRP Holdings, Inc. [JACKSONVILLE, FL] (NASDAQ: FRPH) announced that John D. Milton, Jr. is stepping aside as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer and the Board has elected John D. Baker III to be the new CFO and Treasurer. Mr. Milton will remain as Executive Vice-President, Secretary and General Counsel. Baker started his employment with the company in 2012 prior to the spin-off as a management trainee dispatching fuel trucks.  In 2013, he transitioned to the finance department as an analyst.

Revolution Lighting Technologies, Inc. [STAMFORD, CT] (NASDAQ: RVLT) announced that James DePalma, a director and the Chief Financial Officer of the Company, resigned for personal reasons. In the interim, Robert V. LaPenta, Chairman, CEO and President of the Company, will assume Mr. DePalma’s duties as principal financial officer and principal accounting officer until the Company identifies an interim or permanent chief financial officer.

iCAD, Inc. [NASHUA, NH] (NASDAQ: ICAD) appointed R. Scott Areglado as Chief Financial Officer. Areglado has served as interim Chief Financial Officer since December 2018.  Prior to this, he was Vice President and Corporate Controller from May 2011, and previously held the role of interim Chief Financial Officer from September 2016 to November 2016. From 2005 to 2010, Mr. Areglado served as Vice President and Controller at AMICAS, Inc.

Saia, Inc. [JOHNS CREEK, GA] (NASDAQ: SAIA) announced that Rob Chambers has been named the company’s new Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Chambers most recently served as the Vice President of Commercial Finance for Americold Logistics LLC. Prior to that, he served in financial leadership roles with Ceva Logistics following a tenure at KPMG. Fritz Holzgrefe, Saia’s CFO since 2014, will continue in his role as Saia’s President and COO.

Matthew P. Manning

C. H. Fenstermaker & Associates, L.L.C. [LAFAYETTE, LA] appointed Matthew P. Manning as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Manning served as Treasurer & Director of Planning for Waitr, Inc. Prior to joining Waitr, Mr. Manning held various positions at Stone Energy Corporation including Controller, Finance Manager, Planning Team Lead and Internal Audit Manager during his ten years with the company.

Amerisure Mutual Insurance Company [FARMINGTON HILLS, MI] announced the hire of its new chief financial officer (CFO) and treasurer, Robert Bateman,. Current CFO and treasurer Matthew Simon is retiring after 21 years of service. Bateman joins Amerisure after holding the role of CFO with Infinity Property & Casualty Corporation. Prior to that, he served as CFO at Country Financial. Bateman also held numerous leadership roles at The Hartford — including the CFO of the company’s commercial insurance businesses, before becoming corporate controller.

DFO Global Performance Commerce [NEW YORK, NY] announced the appointment of Ramona C. Hark as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Hark most recently served as the Vice President of Financial Operations and Chief of Staff at Cylance. Prior to her time at Cylance, Ms. Hark was the Vice President of Accounting at Alien Vault.

Harness [SAN FRANCISCO, CA] announced that John Bonney has joined as Chief Financial Officer. Bonney most recently was the CFO at Mapbox as well as FinancialForce. Prior to that, he was the Division CFO of the Cloud Business unit at SAP. Bonney joined SAP from Ariba as a senior finance executive.

NBT Bancorp Inc. [NORWICH, NY] (NASDAQ: NBTB) announced that, Michael J. Chewens is stepping down from his position as Chief Financial Officer effective December 31, 2019 and will be retiring from the Company on March 31, 2020. Mr. Chewens will continue in his role as Chief Financial Officer until December 31, 2019 and then will remain with the Company during a transition period until his retirement date.

Hitachi Vantara [SANTA CLARA, CA], a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE: 6501), announced it has appointed Catriona Fallon as chief financial officer. Most recently, Fallon was the CFO of Silver Spring Networks during a time of significant business growth and led the company through its 2018 acquisition by Itron, later serving as the acquired company’s general manager. Previously, Fallon held senior finance leadership roles at major high-tech brands including Hewlett-Packard Company, Cognizant Technology Solutions and Marin Software Incorporated. Fallon began her career as a consultant at McKinsey & Company and spent several years as an equity analyst at Piper Jaffray & Company and Citigroup.

The Home Depot [ATLANTA, GA] announced that Carol Tomé, Chief Financial Officer and executive vice president of Corporate Services, has decided to retire on August 31, 2019 after 24 years of service to the company. The company also announced that Richard McPhail, senior vice president of Finance Control and Administration, will be promoted to executive vice president and Chief Financial Officer following Carol’s retirement.  Since joining the company in 2005, Richard has held a number of roles of increasing responsibility within the finance organization including director of Strategic Business Development, vice president of Strategic Business Development, and senior vice president of Finance.

Image Sensing Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: ISNS) today announced that Ted Johnson resigned as its Interim Chief Financial Officer.  The Board of Directors has appointed Frank G. Hallowell as Chief Financial Officer. Hallowell most recently served as CFO at Wipaire Inc. Prior to Wipaire, Mr. Hallowell served in senior financial positions at several organizations including Logic PD, Inc., Harland Clarke Corporation, Pearson Plc, ExpressPoint Technology Services, and BellSouth Corporation.
